Santa Clause came to town...and then some

Bare with me. This one has lots of pictures!

Jacob and I had Christmas morning for our kids one day early so we could spend Christmas Eve night with my three sisters at my dad and Frannys house. Our little Christmas will look smaller scale as we were celebrating it in our R.V.! Hey...Santa can get in anywhere right!

Milk & cookies with green sprinkles for santa Our mini Christmas tree (RV style!) Checking to see if santa really ate his cookies Not sure why the jammies came off Santa remembered Ming Ming duck! Somehow I missed getting a picture of Jess opening her jewerly box which was her most requested gift. We had a nice, little Christmas with just us four. Glad we decided to not overdo it (which would be easy for me to allow). You'll see why below! Christmas Eve Day at my sweet mommas house! My sweet, busy momma makin' things happen!

OH MY....what did Santa drop off for these kids?
My sweet niece miss Riley!

Step sister (and dear friend) Carrie and my wonderful step dad Dwight.

Do you see NOW why my kids adore Santa? HAPPY BIRTHDAY DWIGHT!!!! We love you Pa Pa!

Christmas Eve my little family of four stay at my dad and Fran's house and wake up early with my sisters Lacey, Ashley and Tiffany. We usually have a cookie baking contest before we head to bed but the kids were coming down with colds and we all petered out early this year. When the kids woke up they discovered that Santa had come AGAIN for another round. Love you Dad and Franny!!

After our morning at my dad's we hit the road for a four hour drive to San Antonio to celebrate with Jacob's family. This year it was really special because the gathering was held at Grannie Hill's house. This hasn't happened in years. Thanks to all who helped Grannie get the house all ship shape so we could share time together there this Christmas! Here is Jacob's precious Grannie (who is a die-hard Cowboys fan) opening her stone paver for the Legacy walk at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Last but not least we went over to Jacobs parents (better known as Gran and Paw Paw) and celebrated the day after Christmas. Uncle Jason was also there to celebrate with us!
*these pictures were emailed and I could not get them to post any bigger. Sorry.

Thanks to all of the grandparents, aunts, uncles, great grandparents and friends who we got to spend time with. I wish that Christmas came around more than once a year just for fact that we get good visits with all of you!

I pray that you all have health and happiness in 2009!
