Ruby
Jessica got an extra special early birthday surprise this year. We had a tiny visitor under our porch who was all alone and appeared to be looking for a home. This tiny bunny had three meetings with us before being adopted. Three different chances she had to get away but didn't go. I almost didn't cave into my weakness for animals due to our traveling lifestyle. The deciding factor was about 5 feet long, legless and only 15 feet away from devouring our new little pet. She has made herself at home with us and is VERY loved! Jessica immediately decided to name the bunny "Ruby" in honor of her current favorite television program Max & Ruby. For those who aren't familiar, Ruby and Max are bunnies. Ruby is the big sister bunny. The bunnies on the show really do remind me of my pair! Welcome home Ruby. You already are Jessica's favorite birthday gift!
