3 weeks of Halloween

It has only taken me all of three whole months to get our Halloween post done. Now maybe...since I'm on a roll....I can get back in the groove. My mom has been giving me that friendly, motherly nudge! (:

Halloween for my kiddos started the second week into October. The RV park where we were staying had trick-or-treating each weekend leading up to Halloween. After the trick-or-treating came costume contests and pumpkin decorating. By the time Halloween actually rolled around they had changed costumes several times and had become pros.

We attended a Trunk-or-Treat at the church we were attending while in Nashville. That was fun.

Jess went as Dorothy and Josh as the Lion.

Trick or Treating at Yogi Bear RV park- Jess as Cinderella bride and Josh again as a lion.

Josh really didn't care for his lion costume.






Costume Contest



One of the nights, I was asked to be a 'scary person' in the "Haunted Woods" that the park held. It was fun and the kids actually went through it with their Daddy. They were fine once they recognized me.

One of the many Halloween activities the Yogi park did for Halloween was pumpkin decorating. Hi Lisa! We miss you!


Then there was Halloween at the Mansion which consisted of a few stops to trick-or-treat, a haunted portion of the mansion, scary storytelling, a hayride and of course you can't have a function in Nashville without live music.


Josh decided to go as a football player and Jess went as Cinderella







Lastly we went to another church Halloween party. Josh decided to dump the lion costume and go with what felt best to him.



Evidently it was a pretty cool costume here as he won first place in the costume contest this particular night!

He was SMITTEN to win a Froggy Pillow pet. He just happens to own the exact same pillow pet that his Mimi got him. He was over the moon.




It was a really fun month of Halloween!
